Boston to D.C.

The drive back to D.C. was pretty uneventful.  It rained most of the way there, but not very hard. Once we hit Baltimore, it had pretty much stopped. We didn't get lost this time, but we didn't stop in Hartford to see the homes of Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe like I had planned.  Bummer. It's probably better that we didn't since we were able to make it back to D.C. with enough time time to go to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (an annex of the air and space museum)

This is Brandon's attempt to take a pic of a huge church as we were driving by.  LOL!

These next 3 photos are actually from when we first got to D.C. on the way up from Texas.  It was just a neat little skyway that had these lights that would light up and follow you as you crossed it.  The boys got a huge kick out of it.

I am most definitely not commenting on all of these plane pics.  Most of them were taken by B and Shorty.

I did think it was funny that they had a display about Transformers.  :)

He was happy that we made it here.

The boys did ride this flight simulator.  They took it very seriously until the last 15 seconds or so when they started spinning themselves.

They were happy too.

We were going to stay with some friends, but they were so sweet and surprised us with a hotel room down the street from their house.
