My Chaos -

It only took 3 attempts for Home Depot to get it right. I promise I am not that high maintenance. Silly me just wanted my new washer and dryer when they told me it would be delivered the first time and wasn't happy when they called to say it was on back order - hmmm... odd that it wasn't on back order when I PAID FOR IT! Then silly me for not wanting a washer that was all dented up when it finally did get delivered. GAWD - I am so unreasonable! But finally, I did get the whole pair - and finally (I never thought I'd say this), I can get some laundry done - even Joshua who somehow has enough underwear to clothe an entire school, is perilously close to running out...

My home has been in complete dissaray for the last week. We have finally decided to bite the bullett and pay some one else to finish our living room and downstairs bathroom. Brandon and I are pretty much admitting that we are so NOT the do-it-yourselfers. I admire the people like my parents that have the patience and seemingly natural talent to read about how to do something and then just go out there and do it. I just don't have the patience or the energy or the know how to do what I just watched 4 people do to my living room. It is so pretty though and I finally feel like I am on my way to 1 grown up room - LOL! I have also decided to purge the living room - it is already empty - why not only put what is staying back in that room? I think it's time to box up all of my nicnacs from childhood. I think I am going to keep some of them put away - just in case one day one of my kids is blessed with a daughter. Wanna see how pretty it is so far?

OK, so I'm no pro at taking photos. There is a lot for me to learn, but for some reason I can't retain some of the things I've read a million times. My attempts at taking portraits of the boys are some-what lacking - the background could have been better, the lighting was bad and the settings on my camera weren't quite right... but I had fun, the boys had fun and out of the 70 pics I took, I did find 11 that I really did like - even if they aren't totally astonishing from the pro's view. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

That is what I took Bryan to Children's Hospital to find out. He's always been on the small size - that is, except for when he was first born, but we have only recently began to be concerned about it. We took him to a wonderful endochronologist. Bryan was mostly well behaved during the 3 hour process and didn't cry at all (not this is unusual) when they took his blood.

Bryan took his Brown Belt Test February. He is now a Brown Belt and loving it! He is on the road to Black Belt. He has Red Belt, Red/ Black Belt left before he test for the BIG TIME BLACK BELT. He does a fantastic job and takes it pretty seriously. Now...if he would only take cleaning his room seriously.
