Can't Lose
Joshua was so much fun the day we took the boys to the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens - It was a really gloomy day and it kept misting on and off, but it is not such a fun drive so I went ahead took some photos anyways and just hoped for the best. I got a few good ones of Bryan, but he wasn't really interested. Joshua is always willing to give his photo-nut mama a great smile.
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for ICE CREAM!
The Trutna Family received a special package in the mail recently - an Ice Cream Maker! The boys were extremely excited about it and couldn't wait to make our first batch of Vanilla Ice Cream. They complained quite magnificently when I told them they had to wait 24 hours for the machine's bowl to freeze! The nerve to make them WAIT for SWEET SUMMER GOODNESS. (mind you it has not been much of a summer with the constant threat of rain) Finally - we were able to make our first batch of ice cream: BOY, WAS IT A YUMMY MESS!
