Little Europe and the Atomium

There is an amusement park type place in Brussels that has all of these miniature landmarks from all over Europe. It was huge and it was interesting and fun to play around and learn about all of the European countries. We were able to listen to each national anthem and tried our hand at guessing what the landmarks were and from what country they were. I have to say though... NOTHING beats the national anthem of the good ole United States of America!

"Look kids, there's Big Ben!"

This is a Finnish castle.

I can't remember what country this castle was from, but I thought it was pretty cool looking!

The Atomium from below it. It was built for the World Fair in 1958. It was supposed to only remain on display for 6 months, but it was so popular they chose to keep it as a tourist attraction. You can go up in it and look at several displays that I think pertain mostly to science. There's even a section were kids can join some kind of day camp and sleep over.
