My Chaos -

I am so excited and Joshua is so excited! He actually went through the whole class and had a BLAST! Can I tell you how great Master Kim was with him and how awesome it was to see actually hear Joshua laugh, not from being a ham, but because he was having such a great time!

Just a few pics to show you how proud I am of Bryan:

Life has been crazy busy. I've been mostly taking my picture a day, with a few misses. We got the news in the HUB that we were going to be laid off March 20th. I interviewed for an internal position the very next week and about a week later was offered the job. It was very stressful and completely uncomfortable, but once again, God has taken care of our family. I am so grateful and feel so blessed to have this new job. Up until I got the offer, everything was up in the air - what were the kids going to do over the summer, was I still going to be able to go see my parents, what do I want to be when I grow up. Everything has worked itself out though. I am closer to work, the position is a bit of a promotion, the boys are getting into a better routine since it now takes me 10 minutes to get to them instead of an hour. Bryan is not missing any Cub Scouts and has started back to TKD as of today. Joshua has started TKD and this is really his first "activity" ever. Th

Day 89 - Back to TKD after quite a break. Bryan was ready and anxious to get back to it. This was also Joshua's first class after one failed attempt (about a year ago, he wasn't ready). They both really enjoyed it - I am so glad they are both doing this.

Day 88 - I'm starting to think I have a thing with feet - I really don't, but sometimes I think funny pictures call for them. hehe. This is our family - our feet anyways...

Day 87 - Just so ya know what I'm so excited about and what I'm using all of these pics for... This is project 365 - isn't it sssaaaawwweeeet??!!! I'm loving it so far and look forward to being able to go through it at the end of the year.

Day 86 - OK, I never claimed to be a great cook. As a matter of fact, I am a pretty lousy cook, much to my annoyance. I really would like to be better... So, I tried grilling pineapple ala the Brazilian restaurant and failed miserably and ended up eating too much pineapple, which I am slightly allergic to and paid a horrible price for my indiscretion. Enough said...

Day 85 - Planning out what we are going to try to work on over the summer. I think we are really going to focus on the Traveler, Geography and Family Achievements over the summer. These are ones that aren't so easy to work on as a Den, so we are going to try to do some extra stuff over the summer. Should be fun and Bryan's already coming up with some great ideas.

Day 84 - Bond, James Bond. Have to watch it. Daniel Craig is yummy, but he's no Pierce Brosnan. Sorry Brandon, but if Pierce ever offers to run away with me....

Day 83 - He looks so cute in his new Cub Scouts uniform. I can't believe he will be crossing over to Boy Scouts next year! This has been so good for him and I'm hoping he sticks with it all the way to Eagle Scout. How cool would that be?

Day 82 - Did I show you my laptop? My work laptop? Yeah! Got it really fast too! I think I only waited a week for it after I started the new job. Now I can work from home occasionally . (I actually don't care for working from home all that often - makes me feel out of the loop). Nice to have the option there though if one of the boys needs to stay home for any reason.

Day 81 - It's become an addiction. It MUST STOP!! I really do have other things to do!!! NO MORE ZOMBIES! OK...maybe just one more level...

Day 80 - Yeah, I got some scrappy time. I haven't been in the mood so much lately, so these 3 pages was a total feat. Where did my scrap mojo disappear to?

Day 79 - This would be the crazy old man who sits across from me. He's not really sleeping LOL! He saw me with my camera the previous day and decided to pose for me so my parents can see what I have to endure on a daily basis. LOL!

Day 78 - Hello new office. Much smaller, but I am NOT complaining. I am employed and so far, I am liking my new job.

Day 77 - Joshua trying his hand at zombie hunting. He's getting frustrated (and boy do I know the feeling) at his daddy shooting everything before he gets a chance at it.

Day 76 - Such a busy body. Looking out the scrap room window. Seeing what the neighborhood is up to... He definitely like to be in the know!

Day 75 - This is the album for Project 365. I love it and can't wait to start putting it together. However, it isn't going to be as quick as I thought it would. It actually does require some planning.

Day 74 - Feels like a good day for chili. Brandon and I disagree on onions. He doesn't like that many and I love lots of onions and since I am the one cooking... we get lots of onions.

Day 73 - Let the destruction begin. Can't play with my daddy, so Brandon will have to put up with it (if I can put up with his bossy self). Watch out zombies - I am a badass African chick named Sheva and I'm packing a lot of fire power! LOL!

Day 72 - WOOHOO!!! The only video game I'll play (other than the Wii Fit) has finally come out with a new edition. I really wish my dad was here to play...

Day 69 - Ahhh - right out of the shower, wrapped from head to toe. You can almost (if you use a bit of your imagination) can smell the hint of baby wrapped up in that towel. hehe!

Day 68 - WOOHOO! Project 365 just came in the mail - one for me and I also got one for my mom. It's going to be fun putting together and let's face it...new goodies make any day brighter. :)

Day 67 - Speaking of what a big boy he is....time to help around the house. LOL ! He did a great job and I've decided that his meticulous (mini Brandon) nature make this job right up his alley. He moved everything around to hit every spot. It was great!

Day 66 - I just love this photo. I love the lighting, the setting and Bryan. I love his blue eyes and the laugh lines around his mouth. I love the few freckles he has and how handsome and intelligent he is turning out to be. It's bittersweet to see the baby leave his face and the handsome boy he is now.

Day 65 - What can I say about this shot? It's great being a kid! (especially if you have a cool mom, who wants you to be a kid) :)

Day 64 - So my last day of work in the HUB is in 4 days. This is my tribute to the end of one adventure and the beginning of a new one. It will be weird leaving behind what I've come to REALLY know and enjoy doing and starting over with something completely new. I've been really blessed to have worked with some really wonderful people and I've learned so much that will help me with my new job. It's been fun and I will miss it, but I'm looking forward to a new challenge and the chance to prove myself.

Day 63 - I really need to say no to him sleeping in my bed, but who could say no to such a sweet face? And besides...it really is nice to snuggle with my baby. Soon he'll be starting school and he'll be so much more independent. sniff, sniff...

Day 62 - I bought the third book of series expecting it would be the last and I was soooo excited about it. I started it and just didn't get around to finishing it. And you know what? I'm a little ticked off! This was supposed to be the final book, but nooooo Christopher Paolini figures he needs to write a 4th one and leave me hanging at the end of the third one. So NOT NICE!

Another oops. At this point I was thinking about starting my new job and completely excited and not all that with it. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about. I'll explain later.

Day 60 - Can you smell that? Me neither, must mean he's clean. I have no idea how Brandon wrapped Joshua's head this tight - maybe he was a hair dresser in a previous life? LOL! Don't tell him I said that... However he managed it, it tickled Joshua to death! Look at that smile!

Day 59 - WHAT-A-GOOBER! Yes, this is Bryan playing Clue with his stuffed animals. I bet you'd never guess who won??? At least he does NOT lack an imagination.

Day 58 - My little man finally got the honor of posting the colors. He was so excited, as was I (even though I was a little freaked out that he would drop it). He did a great job and never once ran into any problems though.

Day 57 - There he goes again. Building something out of little pieces. I know he always says that he wants to be a doctor who works on Marines, but I sure do see him doing something like architecture or similar. He is just brilliant at seeing something in his mind and creating it out of nothing.

Day 56 - Such a tough guy! It's funny seeing him wear some of Bryan's old clothes. I find myself doing a double-take cause I see my Bryan again at age 5...just for a split second. Why does time go by so stinkin fast?

Day 55 - I know his room is awful! But it's his and he likes it. Hoping to change it around and repaint it very soon. No more wallpaper for this little trouble maker...

Day 54 - Awwww! Such a sweet baby! I know, I know - another sleeping picture?? But honestly he just so cute when he's asleep...and still...and quiet...and still... LOL!

Ooops - didn't have to wait long for another missed photo... LOL! What can I say - there were some other issues I had on my mind!

Day 52 - Scouting for Food. Such a great cause and a really good experience for the boys of our Den. It was an eye opener this year though - with the economy in such a slump, people were definetely more hesitant than in year past. Some were even rude to the boys, much to the irritation of us moms. I suppose rejection is another lesson the boys were taking away that day, but they were OK with it and I was proud of the thanks you's and smiles they maintained even then.

Guess what??? I forgot to take a picture for this day... bet it won't be my last miss...

Day 50 - I love little footsies! I also love the details of Bryan and Joshua and what makes them different or the same. I love that Bryan is a big brother and most of the time wants the best for his little brother - even though Joshua doesn't always appreciate it...
