President George Bush's House

Image
Bryan really wanted to go see "President George Bush's House" when we went out sightseeing with Papi the day after we arrived to DC. He was very excited about it and couldn't wait to tell his friends that he saw where the president lived. Bryan also insisted that not only do we go see the Washington Monument, but we go up in it. I'll be honest, I had no idea that you could even go up there and I wasn't to thrilled about the height or the hassel. I'm glad we did though. We got to see the gorgeous landscape and some really neat bricks on the inside dedicated by different groups and states. Bryan reminded me that some things are worth the hassel and I really need to learn to lighten up... I had such a good time just watching Papi and Bryan walking and talking together - even if at times it was more like snapping...

Big Bad Green Belt!

Image
Bryan tested for his green belt the night before we left on our trip to D.C. He did it all by himself in front of the whole class. I have been so busy lately that I haven't been able to stay and watch his classes, so I didn't really know how we he would do. I was amazed! He did everything right, answered all of his questions and knew all of the commands! I was so proud and happy for him! This last Moday after we got back from our trip he received his certificate and green belt from Master Kim!!

When did I get a life?

Image
Oh wait... I still don't have a life, I am just busy. It has been fairly chaotic around our house lately. Lots of projects going on, a couple of colds, getting ready for Grammy and Papi to come to town and a visit of our own to Washington D.C. It's all been pretty fun and very tiring. So... here is the latest enstallment of photos. The boys had a blast on Halloween, as usual. We went to Grandma's and Grandpa's for dinner and trick-or-treating. It was odd, but I remember seeing a lot of kids this year NOT dressed up... Oh and we got a great gift from Great Grandma Beverly - a beautiful one of a kind Beverly painting!
