Happy Birthday to Joshua!!!

Image
I cannot believe my baby is 2 years old now!!! It's funny because I don't care about my growing older, but it makes me a little sad every time the boys celebrate another birthday. Joshua was very into his birthday this year and knew exactly what to do. However, no one told him that it might not be that polite to take a big bite directly from the cake!! LOL! Papi definately had a piece from the other side!

I love these!!

I think these 2 pictures have definately become 2 of my favorites of the boys. Joshua is clearly irritated in the first one, but it didn't take much prodding to get them both in a silly mood for the camera. Not only do I love the looks on their faces, but I love the colors they are wearing and where they are sitting. It just all seems to combine to make them look comfortable and beautiful. I can almost tell that it is a snuggling day inside while it may be on the chilly side outside.

Just Mom and Me

It was nice to visit my mom in Washington DC during the first weekend of December. She was there for work, so we made the weekend a tourist adventure. We finally got to see a bunch of things that I hadn't had a chance to see any other time I've been there. Here we are eating Japanese food. And notice there is an actual Asian guy cooking and not a Mexican guy like there always is here in Texas. LOL!

Deck The Halls!!

We kept the tree pretty small this year, but it was still very pretty. The boys had a blast decorating it with Grammy and Papi this year. I'm glad we didn't get out our usual family ornaments! Joshua methodically took the tree apart all the way up to Christmas. That child can get into anything!!!

Joshua loves to watch over Bryan's shoulder while he is "restroying" the bad guys on his gameboy. Bryan's a great sport about it and doesn't complain too much about it. (At least until Joshua starts trying to help)

Mama Lita!

No matter what she's doing Mama Lita is always available for some cuddling. Joshua warmed up to Mama Lita right away! Language differences don't mean a thing between babies and their Great Grandmas.
