The Punkin Patch

Image
I love taking fall pictures of the boys. I just love the colors of pumkins and hay and leaves. The problem is always being able to get both boys looking right. Do you see Bryan's fake smile? And do you see the devilish grin on Joshua's face? Right after I snapped this picture Joshua rolled the pumkin he's touching down the hill (laughing his butt off) while Bryan screamed his head off... "JOSHUA!!!!!"

The Owens Farm

Image
The Owens Farm had a "Pumkin Patch" set up this year. We took the boys; they each got to feed animals (ducks, goats, sheep, cows and horses), they went on a hay ride, had lunch and picked out a pumkin. These pictures are funny to me since Bryan started off innocently feeding one little guy... they next thing we knew he had tons of them over there nibbling on his hand. I didn't get a picture of him with the half dozen goats and sheep since I had to go rescue him.

Not So Fast!!!

Joshua is already preparing to be in the driver's seat! Every chance he gets he fights his way to the front either before or after being confined in his own car seat. Whenever he does manage to make his way up there, he completely tickled and laughs his way to touching everything he possibly can before he gets pulled out of the front seat.

Joshua's African Garb

Image
Brandon insists that only Joshua could make this outfit look this cute! I love it. I'm all about green when it comes to Joshua, so it is perfect. And boy does he love to pose for the camera (which makes it very hard to get a candid shot of him). As soon as he sees my camera he grabs his seat and yells "Cheeeeeze!"

Patience

Max has a ton of patience when it comes to Bryan. He puts up with the hugs, demands, the messy room he is expected to sleep in the middle of, and most of all Bryan's insistence that Max let him lay on top of him. I stood at the door of Bryan's wreck of a room for a full five minutes before Max budged from sleeping himself. He must be as attached to Bryan as Bryan is attached to him. I'm glad; it makes me feel a little more confident that Max would protect him if he needed to.

Be Ready Grammy!

You know... there is some one else who now wants a vest just like Bryan's. I guess when Grammy gets here she's going to have to make a trip to the fabric store and dust off my sewing machine. It's a good thing Bryan wasn't around to witness Joshua's invation of his closet.

The Science Project...

The assignment: Pick a rock and using anything you wanted to, turn it into an animal - then make a natural habitat for it. I was so nervous that Bryan and I were doing it wrong, but still quite proud of the end result. We made a crocodile, a beach and pond. We got the chance to see all of the class pet rocks and I have to say... Bryan's was one of the best ones there! :) Of course... I may be a little partial.
