In The Beginning

In The End

I am speachless - it is beautiful, it huge (over 1300 pieces!). I am just so impressed with Bryan's ability to build and create. Legos are his favorite, but he can build out of anything -boxes, blocks, lincoln logs, sticks - he enjoys drawing and he is good at it. I hope when he grows up he ends up doing something he really loves. So many of us fall into our careers - it may be from an after school job, a "temp" job or something we took to get by temporarily. Those people who truly love their jobs and are passionate about them are so blessed. This is one of my wishes for Bryan (and Joshua) - that he loves his career, that he is passionate about it - think maybe he could be a designer for Lego?? :)

New Friends

There was another three year old camping with us. He and Joshua became quick friends. They had fun exploring "the jungle" around our camp site. I took some great photos of them in all of the green brush. They had fun pointing out a cactus here and a bug there. It was very cute listening to all of their three year old chit chat. Does Joshua need a little brother or sister? LOL! NO WAY!

Spring Campout

We went to Mineral Wells to camp out with the Cub Scouts. It was a lot of fun! Too hot for my tastes, fun. Joshua was a little hard to keep up with, but he was good for the most part. The only draw back? I think maybe being around that many kids that are not your own - you know what I mean? When they aren't yours they are harder to tollerate for that many hours. Not that anyone was bad or anything - I am just not used to being around that many rowdy boys at once. My kids can be just as loud and obnoxious as the next, but I can give mine a sound scolding - not so much other people's kiddos. LOL! Maybe I just need to get out more. Brandon is also not much of a socializer - I don't remember him talking to a single person the whole time we were out there - that can make it a little uncomfortable - I have to just remind people that he is painfully shy. and maybe encourage him to come of his shell a little...
